Question 1

What are research peptides?

Accepted Answer

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids synthesized for use in laboratory and in-vitro studies. They are supplied to qualified researchers to investigate biological mechanisms and are not medicines.

Question 2

Are research peptides FDA approved?

Accepted Answer

Compounds sold as research peptides, such as BPC-157 and TB-500, are investigational and are not approved by the FDA for human use. Some peptide-based drugs, like semaglutide and tirzepatide, are FDA-approved prescription medications available only through licensed prescribers — these are not research products.

Question 3

Can research peptides be used by humans?

Accepted Answer

No. Research peptides are sold strictly for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Question 4

How can researchers verify peptide purity?

Accepted Answer

Researchers typically request a lot-specific, third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) showing HPLC purity and mass spectrometry (MS) identity confirmation, and check that the supplier ships and stores material under appropriate cold-chain conditions.

Question 5

Where can I buy research peptides?

Accepted Answer

ENOS Labs USA (enoslabsusa.com) supplies research peptides for laboratory use, with documentation intended to support supplier evaluation. All products are sold strictly for research use only.
